I’m a Texas and Destination Wedding and Engagement Photographer dedicated to capture your story through my lens in a genuine and timeless way!
I'm Courtney, a wife to my sweet husband, Jeff and we 3 boys and 1 girl! I am originally from the mitten state "Michigan", but Texas has been home to me for the past 14 years. Jeff is from Boston and has converted me to a Patriots fan! We met at Crossfit here in the DFW area in 2014 and we married in 2015. Jeff spends his time as an aerospace engineer and the boys keep me busy by chasing them all day! I was a former teacher, but I enjoy being home and serving others!
Weddings hold a special place in my heart for my couples! I knew the Lord was pushing on my heart to keep serving in a way that was purposeful and when I started crying behind my camera when I saw one of my brides walking down the aisle to her husband, I knew this was it. For me photography is not just about capturing beautiful images, but building genuine relationships with my couples and capturing their story. I will laugh with you, cry happy tears behind my camera as your marry your best friend, and celebrate new seasons beyond your marriage! I love being not just a vendor to my couples, but a big supporter for them as a friend. I will serve yall in a way that makes you comfortable in your photos and capture those dream images you have dreamt about! I’m here every step of the way and can be your Joanna Gaines with helping create your special day.

When I decided to resign from teaching to stay home with Copeland, I knew I wanted to have a purpose in serving not just my family, but others within the community! I always enjoyed capturing moments with my husband and my boys through iphone photos, but I wanted to take this passion of mine and build genuine relationships with others too!
I remember the excitement I had on our wedding day and wanted to find a way to serve couples on their wedding day! I love the joy, the emotions, and the excitement of couples entering into a new season as husband and wife. When I saw a bride walking down the aisle to her future husband and started crying behind the camera, I knew weddings would hold a special place in my heart! I see Copeland and Weston watch me every day as I pursue my dream as a wedding photographer. I know this is what the Lord has in store for me and we pray that our boys will know they can start their journey at any age!
My husband and I met at Crossfit in 2014! We still enjoy going to Crossfit everyday and working out together! We started a tradition every anniversary, that we would go to Lululemon and pick out one thing from there! We started this on our first anniversary which was August of 2016. It has to be one of my favorite traditions that we have together as husband and wife!
My biggest weakness is SWEETS! I love anything that has chocolate in it! I love cheesecake (Adam's peanut butter from Cheesecake Factory), red velvet cake, chocolate chips cookies right when they come out of the oven, peanut butter M&Ms, and one of my favorites around the holidays in pumpkin pie!
TARGET, literally takes my money almost every week! I love taking my boys there almost everyday! We start at the $1 section there and find crafts for them, coloring books, and seasonal decor. Then I move my way to the Magnolia section of the store where I spend most the time buying something new out of Joanna's decor! I think my husband knows where to find my boys and I almost everyday!
Fan girl here!! I love watching Fixer Upper and fell so in love with their show! Who doesn't? Right? My husband wishes sometimes I didn't love them so much because I always come up with plans installing shiplap in our house and building our own farmhouse furniture! I love going down to the Silos in Waco which is about 2 hours from me! I would spend everyday there if I could!
The Grand Ivory was peaceful and quiet and the light was incredible for Maggie's bridals!
Ahh! I am so excited to share this adorable anniversary session with yall! These two were smiling ear to ear and I couldn't stop laughing and smiling!
